The organisational structure of the Maldivian Red Crescent makes provisons for a National Adivsory Council (NAC). The NAC will play a consultative role for the Governing Bodies and Committees of MRC, analysing and advising on policy related matters which define the various activities and what can be done to achieve the objectives of the National Society.
Till the 2nd General Assembly NAC will comprise of 8 members of which, the electioneering for the 4 IPG reprentatives were held at the 35th IPG meeting, Ministry of Health, 20th May 2009.
